Assessment

Personalised, science-led support for your pregnancy, birth and recovery.

I am currently training to become a Body Ready Method® Pro. This qualification means I will soon be able to offer personalised 1:1 assessments and follow up sessions for anyone in pregnancy or postpartum who wants tailored, science-led support for their body.

A BRM® assessment looks at how your body moves, how your core and pelvic floor work together, and where small adjustments could make pregnancy, birth or recovery feel easier. You leave with a clear plan made specifically for you, not a generic set of exercises.

These sessions will be available in a few months. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, you can register your interest below.

What it means to work with a BRM® Pro

Body Ready Method Professionals are trained to assess how your body moves during pregnancy and postpartum. This approach looks at your core, your pelvic floor, your alignment, your breathing and your everyday movement patterns, then shows you simple adjustments that create more comfort, strength and balance.

I am currently completing my BRM Pro training. Once qualified, I will be able to offer:

1:1 Body Assessments

A full look at how your body is working right now. This includes movement screens, pelvic floor and core function, breathing patterns, and an understanding of what your body needs to feel supported.

Personalised Plans

You receive a tailored set of movements and adjustments designed for your specific goals. Whether you are preparing for birth, managing pelvic floor symptoms, easing pregnancy aches or beginning postpartum recovery, the plan is built around your actual body and your real life.

Follow Up Support

You’ll have access to ongoing sessions where we refine your plan, progress your movements safely and adapt anything that needs to change as your pregnancy or recovery moves forward.

BRM Pro support blends seamlessly with the work I already do in hypnobirthing, pre and postnatal yoga and therapeutic care. Think of it as the physical piece that completes the puzzle. It helps you move through pregnancy with more ease, approach birth with more confidence and recover with more clarity.

These services will be available in a few months. You can join the waiting list now if you would like to be one of the first to book.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a BRM assessment?

It’s a gentle, practical look at how your body is working right now. I assess how you move, how your core and pelvic floor function together, and which small adjustments could make pregnancy, birth or recovery feel easier. You leave with a tailored plan that fits your real life, not a generic exercise sheet.

Is this the same as physiotherapy?

No. Physiotherapy treats injuries and diagnoses specific conditions. BRM focuses on movement, alignment and whole-body patterns that influence comfort, strength and birth mechanics. It works beautifully alongside physio, midwifery or any clinical care.

Do I need to be fit or flexible to benefit from BRM?

Not at all. BRM is designed for every body, every fitness level and every pregnancy journey. The movements are simple and functional, and we adapt everything to your starting point.

Can this help if I’m already experiencing pain or pelvic floor symptoms?

Often yes. BRM doesn’t treat medical conditions, but it can support your body by improving alignment, reducing strain and helping your muscles work together more efficiently. If something feels out of scope, I’ll signpost you to the right professional while still supporting your overall movement plan.

Can I work with you if I’m planning a caesarean?

Absolutely. BRM supports all birth paths. We work on comfort, core and pelvic floor function during pregnancy, and then recovery strategies after birth. The goal is to help your body feel strong and supported whatever route your birth takes.

Is BRM suitable if I’m already in the postpartum period?

Yes. Postnatal clients often see some of the biggest benefits. We focus on reconnection, gentle strength, scar mobility (if relevant), breathing patterns and progressive recovery. It’s a kind, measured approach rather than a rush back into fitness.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people start with an initial assessment, then 1 to 3 follow-ups depending on their goals. Pregnancy clients often check in every few weeks as their body changes. Postnatal clients sometimes prefer monthly reviews. It’s flexible and guided by what you need.

Can BRM replace my pregnancy yoga or hypnobirthing?

No, they complement each other. Yoga builds mobility and calm. Hypnobirthing builds confidence and mental steadiness. BRM strengthens the physical foundations underneath all of that. Together, they create a complete approach.

When will 1:1 sessions be available?

I’m completing my BRM Pro training now. Sessions will open in a few months, and you can join the waiting list if you’d like to be one of the first to book.
