COVID-SAFE CLASSES FOR ALL

The following guidance and procedures have been put in place for all face-to-face classes to ensure the safety and peace of mind of clients.

Social Distancing

  • All mats are spaced a minimum of 2m apart. I ask that you refrain from moving around the room too much once you have settled on your mat.

  • Please try and keep little ones within their own space as much as possible during the class.

  • Please practice social distancing when entering and exiting class, paying particular care to 'pinch points' such as stairways and doorways.

  • Classes are spaced 15 minutes apart to allow the previous group to depart, so please can I ask that you exit to room promptly (I know how nice it is to stay and have a chat, but unfortunately current Tier 2 restrictions mean you are not allowed to socialise with those outside of your household or bubble before or after class).

  • Classes will not contain and hands-on adjustments from the instructor.

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Masks or face coverings must be work (unless exempt) when arriving and departing class.

  • Little Ones Yoga: Adults must keep their masks or face coverings on throughout the duration of the class.

  • Mama & Baby Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Beginners Yoga, Over 50s Yoga, Hypnobirthing: Masks can be removed once you are safely on your mat.

Hand Hygiene

  • All venues have hand washing facilities for you to use if needed. The location of these will be made known to you on arrival.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided on entry to the class, and available throughout the class should you need to top up.

Cleaning

  • All equipment and floors are thoroughly cleaned in between classes, as are touch points such as door handles.

  • If you would like to bring your own yoga mat (Pregnancy Yoga, Mama & Baby Yoga, beginners Yoga, Over 50s Yoga) then please feel free.

  • Little Ones Yoga: All craft supplies are provided in an individual basket and are not shared.

  • Hypnobirthing: All handouts are provided in a 'Parent Pack' at the start of the course.

Temperature Checks

  • A temperature check will be carried out on all adults with a contactless thermometer on arrival at class. If you have a high temperature (over 38 degrees) you will not be permitted into the class.

 

Covid Symptoms

  • If you are displaying any Covid symptoms (new, persistent cough, loss of taste or smell, high temperature) please do not attend class.

Test & Trace

  • In compliance with the Government Test & Trace system, a QR code will be available to scan if you use the NHS Covid app.

  • All bookings are made online, in advance (no drop-ins) so details are retained if they need to be passed on to the Test & Trace system.

  • Little Ones Yoga, Mama & Baby Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Hypnobirthing: All classes are booked in blocks of 5-8 weeks, so that groups can remain in bubbles. This will decrease the risk of being contacted by Test & Trace as you are coming into contact with a limited number of people.
